About Us

Kapow Photography Ltd is owned by Welsh photographers Karl Baker and Dave Powell. Kapow was created out of a mutual love of all things photography. It was our intention from the outset to provide our customers with modern wedding photography packages but to do it in such a way as not to encroach on the bride and groom’s big day.

We primarily attend weddings in South Wales but are regularly commissioned to photograph events in Bristol, Cheltenham, London and even Spain. We consistently take wedding bookings.

Building on the popularity of our successful iPhone app The wedding photographers starter kit we now offer training to other budding wedding photographers. Running numerous workshops and photo-walks to clients all around the UK. The starter kit has now sold consistently in 23 countries world wide. We also have our work published in professional photography magazines such as Freelance photographer and ephotozine.com. See

With our commercial and corporate photography experience we have also been lucky enough to shoot for some large well known brands and companies including Toys R Us, Mc Donalds, Gladiator Insurance, Gym Group, Arts Council of Wales, Power Rangers, Squash Wales and more.
