Our Bridgend wedding photography began with Another fantastic wedding from start to finish as we headed down to the very splendid Court Coleman in Bridgend for a late September wedding of Leah & Ryan Llewellyn. Bridgend wedding photography at Court Coleman like so many other Manor House wedding venues has everything you could want from a photography perspective. With The ceremony being held there also it enabled us to capture some magical images in a very elegant ceremony room.
Leah and Ryan also added on a photo booth for the evening of their wedding from South Wales photo booth hire. This as you may of read previously can be added on to any Kapow wedding photography package for just £195 for the evening of your wedding.
When writing these blogs Its very easy to write down words such as amazing, awesome, fun, photogenic and fabulous in a blog post like this, but I wouldn’t know how else to communicate with you what is for us the best job in the world, especially when you are working with people who simply Rock!!!
It was our absolute pleasure to asked to cover this Bridgend wedding photography for Leah and Ryan … below are just some of our favourites from the 1500 photos we gave Leah and Ryan …. but before that; here is an amazing, fun, awesome and fabulous email from Leah…!!!
“… Just a quick message to say a massive Thank you for the most amazing photos of our wedding day. Myself & Ryan are over the moon with them all. You really did capture all the best bits of the day, I was really surprised to see some of the photos as i cant remember seeing you at all & don’t remember you taking some of them but I suppose that’s down to how talented you both are. You are both very professional at what you do but fun at the same time which is exactly what every Bride/Groom wants. Everyone one has commented on how fantastic you both were.
The Photo booth was also out of this world & added lots of fun to the evening. I am so glad we chose to have it as i dont think the day would have been the same without it. People are still talking about it now,you may end up getting booked for Resolven Rugby club as the ‘Rugby’ lot said that they hadn’t laughed that much in years haha. You were both so layed back which was lovely to see. We had so much fun the day after the wedding looking back through all the comments and photos. Such a brilliant idea.
I wish you all the luck in the future with Kapow, i will definatley be recommending you to anyone & everyone looking for a photographer for their wedding and a Photo Booth. Good luck with the Welsh National Wedding awards, You 100% deserve to win.”
As a Wedding photographer, Bridgend is a very popular location for Kapow. We were asked to cover the wedding of Rosie & Andries at Coity church. The wedding venue for the day was Bryngarw House, Bridgend. Bryngarw is a very popular wedding venue for us. We seem to have worked there quite a lot over the last few years. In fact this particular weekend we had back to back weddings there!
Bryngarw provides some excellent locations for bride and groom portraits. Everything you could want for great wedding photography. In fact it is also a very popular location for engagement shoots for couples who live nearby. The gardens below Bryngarw house remind me somewhat of those at Craig Y Nos with a bridge, river and pathways amongst trees and benches that provide any wedding photographer Bridgend with a great choice and different options for creating stunning images with the camera.
Andries is captain of the Cardiff Blues. AS massive rugby fans ourselves it was a pleasure to be shooting a rugby wedding! Wales Captain Sam Warburton as well as other players made great wedding guests. As well as working regularly at Bryngarw house as we have also covered many wedding venues in this and the Porthcawl areas including many at Coed Y mwstwr and Court Coleman.
Luckily the weather held for us on the day and we were able to take a walk down the steps to the gardens below and capture some fun photographs of the ushers and bridesmaids as well as the offical bride and groom portraits. For photography geeks out there, the kit we used on the day was a mixture of both Canon and Nikon, with the D700 and 5DMK2 both in use along with the Nikon 70-200VR2 2.8 and 24 – 70 2.8 lenses in action!
Below are some of our favourite photos from the day….
