Sarah & Craig – King Arthur Hotel wedding photography

Craig and Sarah were married at the King Arthur Hotel in Reynoldston, Gower in August 2011. They opted for the two photographer wedding package and we had an absolute blast with these guys all day. Craig made us laugh constantly and his ushers and best man were on top form all day! We started off the day in Killay where Sarah was having her make up done and Craig and the boys were also getting ready. Despite a torrential downfall when Sarah arrived at the King Arthur Hotel it managed to clear up and we were able to capture one of our most iconic wedding photographs of 2011.

“The road to the King Arthur shot” in black and white below was an off the cuff shot that we decided to try whilst driving them to the King Arthur Stone for some off camera flash photos during the early evening. I’d had the shot in my head for weeks and Craig and Sarah were brave enough and real superstars to dodge the traffic to try it out! The cloud formation at the time, the winding road to Cefn Bryn and the use of off camera flash meant we pulled off this spectacular wedding photo for them. The photo has since been used by a leading UK photography magazine for an article on wedding photography. All in all a superb day, loads of fun and one awesome set of wedding photos that we all were really pleased with…. Karl
