Wedding Photographer Bridgend
Rosie & Andries
As a Wedding photographer, Bridgend is a very popular location for Kapow. We were asked to cover the wedding of Rosie & Andries at Coity church. The wedding venue for the day was Bryngarw House, Bridgend. Bryngarw is a very popular wedding venue for us. We seem to have worked there quite a lot over the last few years. In fact this particular weekend we had back to back weddings there!
Bryngarw provides some excellent locations for bride and groom portraits. Everything you could want for great wedding photography. In fact it is also a very popular location for engagement shoots for couples who live nearby. The gardens below Bryngarw house remind me somewhat of those at Craig Y Nos with a bridge, river and pathways amongst trees and benches that provide any wedding photographer Bridgend with a great choice and different options for creating stunning images with the camera.
Andries is captain of the Cardiff Blues. AS massive rugby fans ourselves it was a pleasure to be shooting a rugby wedding! Wales Captain Sam Warburton as well as other players made great wedding guests. As well as working regularly at Bryngarw house as we have also covered many wedding venues in this and the Porthcawl areas including many at Coed Y mwstwr and Court Coleman.
Luckily the weather held for us on the day and we were able to take a walk down the steps to the gardens below and capture some fun photographs of the ushers and bridesmaids as well as the offical bride and groom portraits. For photography geeks out there, the kit we used on the day was a mixture of both Canon and Nikon, with the D700 and 5DMK2 both in use along with the Nikon 70-200VR2 2.8 and 24 – 70 2.8 lenses in action!
Below are some of our favourite photos from the day….
